| Lucia is our SBT marble queen. Her marble pattern is one of the best we have seen. There is absolutely no bullseye and the pattern has a long horizontal flow. The outline is intensely black throughout with no break whatsoever in the perimeter. The middle of the pattern has slowly fallen out - a characteristic of the "tri-colored" marble. You can see the difference when you look at her Helmi Photo Album as a kitten vs. recent photos in her snapshot album. Links below. The best contrast in a marble is achieved when this "fall-out" occurs very slowly over the first year or two.
Even more spectacular than the pattern on this girl is her wild,wild type. She has round, wide-based, low-set ears identical to those on our F1's. She has the ideal head profile and puffy whisker pads that every Bengal breeder dreams of. And her body is long, slinky and low to the ground like that of the ALC.
At Lucia's one and only show, in Austin, she took a second best Bengal kitten (right behind ZenDada Moondoggy) and sixth best specialty kitten in show.
